LED Lighting for Buddy Scooter

I have seen people attach strips to their motorcycles and wire in the light strips. Does anyone make LED lights that have a self contained power source, i.e. batteries or LED lights that plus into the phone charger slot? I would love to have LED strips that just run off of AAA batteries, with an on/off switch, but I haven't had a lot of luck finding them.

LED's hardly draw any power. Just wire some strips into a live circuit and you'll be fine. I have some along the back of the Buddy and I tapped-in to the license plate wire 'cuz I didn't want to chance anything with the brake light.

There are some that run off battery packs; I've looked at some for possible Halloween costumes for my scooter.

As Tocsik said, though, it wouldn't be too hard to wire them to the scooter (add an inline fuse!) with a switch you can put in the glove bucket or elsewhere. Tapping any line going to your lights should work, but you could also wire it directly to the battery if you wanted to.

There are quite a few options, especially for bicycles but I think they could be adapted for scooters.

Here are two from this URL:
