And by "bike", I mean almost literally so. Interesting combination of modern technology and a re-do of one of their older bikes.

Pretty sure I'd buy it tomorrow if I could get some wood paneling and a reasonable saddle.

THAT is pretty cool. Its a show concept bike, but change a few bits for the real world and that could be sweet...Keep it cheap and simple.
Heres a good sign, my 14 year old daughter likes it, too.

Definitely a beauty. They could coax even more efficiency if they gave it wind protection like our scoots have.

I love it. Obviously very concept-y and not right for production as is, but the style and intent are right on. I love that it has a classic appearance but is still very modern.
Very surprised this came from Yamaha. They haven't been known for these kinds of concepts and it's been a while since they've produced a motorcycle that appealed to me at all.

Somehow I thought it might have some appeal here.
As to concept vs. production, notice how it resembles the model from the past. Not really THAT farfetched.
Their safest course would be to make it look even more like the original.

A 2 gallon tank would go forever!

Beautiful! But I would want some beefier tires like on the original YA-1.
If it could accelerate decently and had a good top speed, I would be on-board.

It looks more like a moped than a motorcycle.
Actually it looks more like Orange County choppers meets Shwinn. Fortunately it is a concept.

Me too. It does look like a mountain bike had a baby with a 22nd century Orange County Chopper but that appeals to me as well

I suppose that if you prefer something more modern, it would look like this:

Found it in a British mag. Don't know if you can even buy it in the U. S.
Still, referring to either the Yammer or this one, it's nice when the smaller displacement bikes get a dose of serious cool. Usually they only get "dull and cheap."

Nah, not a Yammer. If it were a Honda, it might shock you with its sticker.
