[NBR] Honda out, Honda in

Well, I finally gave in to the itch. The Helix is up for sale and is being replaced by a '76 CB125S. I'll miss the plush ride, but not the 6,243.78 screws, clips, and fasteners, and the 2 hours it takes to get the plastics off every time I want to mess with something. Already have a couple of sales prospects, but if nothing pans out, I'll post the Helix here.

Thanks.

I gave up on the TU250X after getting dusted off at my local dealership, then sending quote requests to three other dealers in the area and being totally ignored. Spent a little more than I wanted to, but the Helix should bring in enough to cover the purchase and stuff like tires and other whatnots.

the 125s is actually a rare bike. Don't see many of them. I have a 73 CB175, and its a cool little runabout, too.

My dealer has a CL175 (the scrambler version) that he's offered to make me a deal on several times. And every time, my response is, "Ummm… yyyyeeeee… Wait, no, I can't have another bike right now!" As if two are "enough."

There's a Honda CB400 Four parked across the street from me that hasn't been moved in the past 6 months. I don't know if it's abandoned or not, but I'm thinking about putting a note on it with an offer to buy. Either that or I'll sneak it into my garage some dark rainy night....:)

Looks exactly like this one except it's not quite as shiny...

Aaaaahhhh.

Back in the late '70s, my buddy had the above-mentioned CB400F SuperSport (6-speed), and I had a '75 CB550F SS (5-speed), fortunately in blue rather than the hey-over-here! orange metalflake. Those were some sweet bikes.

Love that 4 into 1 exhaust. Looks mean just standing still.

Sweet bike Charlie. If I were to buy a motorbike it would most likely be a small displacement 70's Honda. Many seem to be common enough to get parts for and I've always loved the way they look.

Congrats! Love the AMA emblem...a perfect match. You'll love how much you can throw those little bikes around.

Sweet! Love these old bikes. This is exactly the kind of thing I'm watching for as well.
