Custom painted Stella w/ sidecar. If I had the loot this would be mine. Not fond of the custom paint but for that price I could live with it till I could afford a new paint job.

Actually it was created in Ypsilanti... but can you imagine an EMU-themed scooter?

You can give it to me, even though I'm a Buckeye through and through. I'll even promise not to repaint it.

This is a sweet machine. I looked it over really good at SAT several years ago. Looks like the matching helmet is tucked into the nose of the sidecar.

I guarantee that they know the difference between Stella (LML) and Vespa ... but Craigslist readers don't necessarily know - having Vespa in the listing gets it put in the right category. The link they provided to Genuine should make that clear.

lol no better a all in my book. I'd rather it be flat black or military green. Maybe that awful orange camo that Ural had.

Wow, sweeping generalizations must always be right. Any further comment by me will no doubt lock the thread. So to get back to the actual topic, yes they know the difference between a vespa and a stella, they were dealers of both. I was never a fan of the sidecar when i worked there, it just limits the scoot's potential, however, if you are into that sort of thing, you really cant beat the price!

I'm not sure if I'd like a sidecar rig either (no leaning) but I have a feeling I'd like it better than driving a car all winter long  Eventually I'll probably either end up with an Ural gear up or a trike. Most likely an Ural since they were designed to be driven in the mud/snow/sand. Although I really wish they would make a fuel injected version.

I dunno, it kinda works for me. The M works for my initial, even.

I wonder how badly the sidecar drags the Stella down. And what it does to tire life. I'm told hack rigs go through tires pretty quick.

Are there special sidecar tires for scoots like there are for motorcycles? With the flat profile?
