This might seem like an obvious question, but I can't seem to find the answer in previous threads.
I took my battery out of my scoot when I parked it for the winter. I have a battery tender Jr.
Do I just hook up the tender to the battery and leave it? All winter without touching it? Is that ok?
Or, am I supposed to hook it up for a day at a time, or a few hours at a time?
Battery Tender Question - jsut leave it?

Just hook up the Battery Tender Jr and forget it. The Tender has a chip in it that takes care of everything.ComboOrgan wrote:This might seem like an obvious question, but I can't seem to find the answer in previous threads.

The Tender chip is smarter than I am. I once accidentally left it overnight with the alligator clips connected to the wrong terminals. No damage or problems whatsoever! A non-smart charger would have had all kinds of problems!
