Lots of "deals" going on this week. Anyone seen a particular item of note (on-line or in-store) that seemed like a great deal?

Jackets, pants, helmets, gloves, scooters, etc... I figure I have a few more days before I hit my spending hangover in January...

Thanks... I saw cyclegears sale stuff... stopped by the san diego store on the way home from work, slim pickings for most items. Web might be the best bet. Mc superstore looks ok too... leatherup pricing looks comparable to pre xmas sale stuff.

I've been getting flyers in the mail from Cyclegear.com some stuff is pretty expensive but the keep few name brands.

I've been looking for a winter rain jacket for some time but was surprised to find that the local bike shop had as good deals as anybody else.

Went back there today and bought that cold weather jacket. Price was marked $139.95 but they knocked it down to an even $130 for me. Zip out liner, CE armor and waterproof. This will be the first real MC coat I've ever owned. Now I need to know where to find some good zip-off overpants and I'm set for winter commuting.

Incidentally, the brand is called 6th Gear, which is located in the Atlanta area. They say they've been buying from them for years with very few complaints.

OT: Sat on the Honda SH150 and I must say, it feels very big-boned for a 150cc scoot.

Nice, sounds like you've got a good shop nearby... my xelement jacket I got from leatherup got torn up a bit in my recent accident, so I need to replace it. I'll google 6th gear, though ill admit to not having heard of them before.

I got to test ride an hd200 evo yesterday...it pretty much dwarfed my buddy, but it was an excellent ride.
