some of you probably watch M13, he talks about how lighter rims improve handling, braking, accel, top speed.. it sounds right

not that I have the money, would you need a specific rim to fit the buddy or would any 10" rim work? links or sites to check out?

Just made this same thread couple days ago(look a half page down). No luck so far. Don't think bolt pattern is common at all unfortunetly but would love to be shown wrong. I'm just looking for a cheap alternative but blingy rims would be cool also. Rotating weight is always important.

I want "spinners" on my Buddy, and paint it like an ice cream truck. It could also play a tune thats fun for the young children............

Not to rain on your parade, but I've never heard of any aftermarket rims for any modern scoots. If you do find some, it would be very cool to see them.

If you knew a fabricator, anything is possible.

Closest I've seen is MYSCTR's chromed rims: topic19773.html

I'm assuming these are standard PGO rims that have been refinished, not third-party wheels.

You can, of course, powdercoat stock rims any color you want.

This is very true!! I no longer live in the same time zone as the one guy I know who could do things like that. He once helped me turn a vintage Vespa folding rear rack into a folding front rack for a Scarabeo. That was pretty darn cool, and totally required skills I didn't have.

that would look real nice, but I was thinking of lighter rims(magnesium or carbon fiber) to improve performance.. probly cost an arm and leg for custom ones.. probly better off just getting a small motorcycle to mod
