Anyone know of a vendor selling quality white walls for 150 sized Buddy?
Is there a difference between the 125 and 150 tire sizing?
Thanks,
Madscoot.

According to the manual, the 50 takes a 3.0-10, the 125 takes a 3.5-10, and the 150 takes a 100/90-10.
All tubeless?
Beyond that, I don't know if there's a real-world difference between all three in terms of what will mount on which wheels.

There are no quality WW's out there IMHO. The Maxxis were OK but they don't make them anymore. I had to switch to blackwalls out of necessity and have been very glad ever since.
Just avoid the Prima's. You'll have to change your rear tire as frequently as every oil change.

+1. Avoid the Primas. I never got to the point of wearing down my Prima. I replaced it at just about 1,000 miles because as soon as our weather turned wet and cold, it started sliding all over the place. Scared the crap out of me. Just go with blackwall tires. Your scooter will still look really cool and it'll keep you safe.

yeah, I figured my fancy whitewalls would last the summer and that would be about it. Bummer as they look nice. I'll just take lots of pictures.

Thanks guys you all rock. How about just 1 tire anywhere?
Do you mount your own tires with no balancing?
Thanks,

I never have done it but I've seen painted on white walls that looked good. There's paint designed just for doing that.

With no good WW's on the market, I wouldn't be surprised if someone came out with a better quality one before too long. Here's hoping...
(Though it would have to be pretty freakin amazing to make me give up my Heidenau K61's)

I am on my last maxxis w/w then trying K61. I was going to rotate them but in abt 2500 miles will swaping both out. Hoping the blackjack will look good with red rims and reg tires

Given the number of Buddy Internationals and Black Jacks that need replacements as well as the potential "upgrade" market, I can't believe there isn't a market for a good quality WW. And it really doesn't have to match a K61. I suspect most potential buyers would be satisfied if it matched the OEM Maxxis in performance. I would think a WW version of any of the more popular Michelin, Pirelli or even Vee Rubber tires would provide adequate performance and allow the look that was intended on those particular scooters.

I agree. Someone like Maxxis needs to get their groove back on!
I was surprised to connect with Scooterwest in San Diego this week.
They say that only 3% of their business is with Genuine scooter parts.
Who has the biggest/best selection? Motorcycle Superstore has good tire selections, but no WW tires.
