With models like the Stella, LML Star 200, the Lambretta LN/LS, (dare I say) my La Vita 150 and now the Lambretta LJ/LT 50 scootering is back on the path of functionality AND true style when considering new models.
Vintage and modern, I like them all. I'm stoked at the thought of this scoot (considering I'll never see it).

It doesn't look like it as of yet. With the styling, my initial hope was that it was a 125 or 150.

The reason I got the La Vita instead of a Stella when I lived in San Diego. I just couldn't wait any longer.
I'm in Tennessee now. CARB, be damned!

Um, I actually like that more than the LN.
Highly-glammed photo, though. Hard to tell.
It would likely cost A LOT for a 50cc in the US, which is a hard sell in many states.

There's little "real" info on it. It's on the Lambretta LN company's page, but not via their nab, only if you search for it. Also, no pics there.
It does say there will be a 125 and 150 and a 4T 50.

A light, sprinty, safe and economical scooter, suitable for young and not too young people that easily will avoid the traffic of the twenty-first century metropolises. With three different motorizations 50cc, 125cc and 150cc it will be available in september of 2012 .

Is there one real Lambretta any more? Or has the Lambretta name turned into the two wheeled version of the Xerox machine?

More like the scooter version of Indian Motorcycles.
Honestly, I could care less about the name. The looks on the other hand look sweet. but those are PR photos, so who knows. and what does it look like on the inside? if they had a decent engine, i might consider one...
