Seattle area scooter riders?

Who does it and for how many months out of the year?
I have someone picking up my Rattler tomorrow and I will be headed up to Bellevue in a couple of days. I think it is snowing there now.
Should I forgo the scoot and get something more all weather capable?

I'm a bit outside of the Seattle area, unless you count a 3 hour drive south as being in the area, but our climate here in Portland is similar. I ride year round, with the exception of days where there is anything frozen in the forecast. I also try to avoid days with really heavy rain. If you want to ride even when it's snowing, I'd suggest that anything with two wheels is a poor choice. If you're willing to ride in a lot of rain, and park it when it's frozen, a scooter might work for you.

I'd agree with pdxrita. Mostly you'll be dealing with rain, not snow. Seems like we only get 1 or 2 good snows a year. I could ride in the rain but choose not to.
I'm more of a recreational rider at present. But I see several Tacoma scooterists riding year round. If you've got good gear you can make it work.
Two Genuine dealerships to choose from if you need service, etc.: Seattle Ducati near the Seattle Center or Kent Kawasaki.

I scoot all year, unless there's snow &/or alot of ice on the roads. Seattle usually shuts down on those days anyway.
"Summer" starts on July 5th, + or - a week, and ends in Sept (maybe in October). Other times, temps will be 30's - 50's with some form of rain.
FYI, there have been changes at Ducati and, if rumors are correct, it does not look good for genuine owners.
