I found a new blackjack at a dealer on the west coast who stated he will sell it to me at dealer cost. Does anyone know what that is?

Man, that's a deal! I assume prolly @ $3k ,since they're advertised about 3600-3800.

At this point they're a limited run and very few are left. I liked the looks but I actually crave quiet on the pipe. I wouldn't mind replacing my shocks with sport shocks though, the roads are in bad shape :P.

He's telling me $2800.00 but I actually think its lower.

^^^^ It doesn't really matter. That is what he is willing to sell it to you for, and that is a heck of a discount...

Having worked in the business (motorcycles), I can tell you mark-up isn't what most people think.

Probably not much lower. MSRP was $3499. You'd have paid even more in prep, taxes, fees, etc.

If that's an OTD price, then that's a good buy! If there's taxes and fees after that... not so much. OTD for 2800 is one to jump on

i doubt the dealer cost is lower. i don't think he would lie as it wouldn't be difficult to indeed find out true dealer cost if you dig a little more. its an msrp of $3500 and these aren't china scoots. profit margins are not high

don't nickel and dime yourself out if a good deal on a great scooter. if you really want it its worth what is being asked for it, even with taxes on top. you either want it or you don't imo

I would buy this in a heartbeat. What does it cost to ship though?

I would imagine the warranty would come with it, but don't know for sure.

I bought my Buddy from them (Kent Kawasaki) back in '09, and have been back there a few times for periodic maintenance. So far as I know, they are above board with these prices (prep and tax would still need to be added, I'm guessing).

Just bought 2009 Blackjack in San Francisco for $2,500. Clean. Has Givi top box, rack and mount. Prima pipe flawless. Yes, Seattle dealer has killer deal but remember shipping and tax. 2,500 miles or so. Needs back tire only.

I would pay $3K plus fees for a new one.
