E-Bay Scooter Battery

Post by 50CC Cape Cod »

Has anyone bought a replacement scooter battery from Chrome Battery
on E-bay? Made in USA and has a 18 month warranty. Looking to order one wanted some feedback before placing the order. Thanks.

Never heard of them. Most of us have Yuasa batteries.

If you buy from eBay, how is the warranty honored should you need to replace it?

Customer service indicated they will replace product & shipping no charge.
I had Yuasa as well in the past thought their AGM battery with 18 month warranty for $28 may be worth a try. Thanks for the feedback.

I just have Yuasas because that's what's come stock in every scooter I've owned.

advance auto carries a good supply of motorcycle/scooter batteries. About the same price esp without the shipping.

Thanks. I did check Advance theirs are made in China and came with a 90 day warranty and have to add the acid yourself and charge prior to use.
In the past I usually only got about 2 years out of a battery so was looking for an option. I saw the Chrome was no shipping charge and factory ready but a new product out there so time will tell if a good product.

It's more than likely a rebranded battery from China.
I'm not too sure about their customer service claims: http://www.chromebattery.com/customer-service

I have purchased Powersport motorcycle and scooter batteries from a local supplier as replacements for Yuasa batteries. They have performed just fine.
