Do you get homesick much?
I do get homesick from time to time, but I have been travelling around the world for school quite a bit so I am used to it by now.
As you can guess, scooter culture is one of the big things I really miss (the other is the food!), I never had a proper scooter back home, rather I had a really old Piaggio Ciao that barely ran (I often rode my mountain bike instead because it was both faster and had brakes

). Lucky for me the city I ended up living in for completely unrelated reasons ended up having some of the coolest people I have ever met, so that helps a lot in fighting the homesickness

Haha thanks. It's a bit early for us to talk of marriage really, we have been dating since July of last year

. I may stay in the states long term, or we may move somewhere else, who knows, a Ph.D. is surely going to be a great tool to work abroad.
