I KNOW that I wasn't dreaming this.
I was on a scooter site a few days ago that had the funny "It's not a damn moped," "Scooter Rides $5," "My ride gets 70+mpg..." patches in sticker versions. So I thought to myself, "Oh, I should get some of these!" but I was at work, so I had planned on waiting until I got home, but I totally spaced on it.
Now, I have already looked on scooterworks, scooterwest, and scooterloungeonline, to no avail. What am I missing?!
It's driving me crazy!!
It was definitely within the last week though.
So it couldn't have been scootmoto... I didn't think to check them until you suggested it though, so thanks PeteH!
@pdxrita: Unfortunately we delete the history every day... so I can't go back and find it. I'm actually at work right now.. but being here reminded me of them so I decided to look again, and this time, send myself the link or something. Wish I did that when I first found them! D'oh!
@Charlie55: The patches are all over, I've looked through all of the patches/pins/etc pages on all of the sites, but I'm looking for the stickers, but thanks.
I'm thinking I may have found them on a scooter dealers' site. But I'm not completely positive... I kinda stumbled on them while wasting time here and didn't think to send myself the link, like a dummy.
But who knows, I could be totally imagining it... I'm 99.9% certain that I saw them for reals though. Ugh.
If any of you ever see DOG the Bounty Hunter at a book signing or something please educate him on the difference between scooters, mopeds and motorcycles.Dogs boys used a couple of scooters on the show and Dog called em mopeds and motorcycles.
Ah yes the "its not a damn moped" patch...use to have that on my riding jacket but took it off now that I also ride a moped. I wouldn't mind having a sticker to put on the scooter.

Not that there's anything wrong with being a moped. The only reason I correct people when they call my scooter a "moped" is because... it doesn't have pedals.
Also, it's isn't incorrect to call a scooter a motorcycle, because they are. They're a certain kind of motorcycle, and there's a better, more specific name for them.
It doesn't help that here in Michigan, the motorized under 50cc two-wheelers must display a registration sticker that says... (you guessed it), MOPED. The sticker (and the Secretary of State office) doesn't care if your ride has pedals or not, and the wording seems to reinforce the fact that many in this state call all small two-wheelers "mopeds".
In the case of my Puch (currently my only 50cc), it actually works in my favor.
