Last I checked Battery Tender products were all made here in the US and my experience with them has been very positive.

A proper floating/monitoring charger will solve a majority of battery related issues and extend the life of the battery quite a bit.

I also recommend removing the battery and storing it indoors during the off season and keeping the floating charger on the battery while being stored.

It sounds like a lot of work for a tiny battery but the cost to your wallet and the environment is certainly worth the effort.

My friend already has the Shumacher version so I figured I could try that. I've read the rave reviews about the Battery Tender Jr., but was wondering if anyone had tried the Shumacher since I can just use it now.
