Need to be replace. All I can find online are the Prima whitewalls.

Any other options? suggestions?

Do you absolutely need to have whitewalls?

Reviews of the Prima tires here have been less than favorable.

The Continentals are good but may be hard to find.

Shinkos are also okay.

Avoid Sava.

All in all, there are much better blackwalls available than any whitewalls right now.

I'm close to needing to replace my Heidenau K61s on my Vespa. Lasted over 13K and perform amazingly.

I wonder how long the K58 will last... I'm torn between eventually replacing with more K58 or try the 61s

I'm not married to whitewalls. I just want something I can ride the snot out of, and the Heidenau K61s look like they will fit the bill.

Is 100x90-10 the stock size for a Blackjack? I'm gonna replace both tires.

Didn't rotate them; will do that with the new ones.

I think the expense of having them rotated, if you pay someone to do it, would negate any savings from the extended tire life. You'd have to remove both wheels, remove the tires from the rims, remount them on the opposite rims and reinstall. It's not as easy as rotating car tires.

Not at all. The LX has different sized front/back tires.

Got ya. Not used to two different size tires here. 13k is almost crazy.

Wait why would you need to remove them from the rims to rotate them? Given the same wheel size wouldn't the rims be identical?

From what others have reported, the K58s are great in cold and wet but not so much in the warm and dry. The compound if totally different; I'd be surprised if they lasted as long.

Then again, I don't do nearly the speeds on my Stella that I do on the Vespa—I'm a lot harder on those tires overall. Hm… don't know…

Ah, I was under the impression that the main difference was the thread rather than then compound.

In that case I am somewhat tempted to buy an extra rim and switch to K61s as soon as the weather warms up.

I have a Blackjack as well.

I have tried several tires , considering that I am 300 lbs and that I am riding this scooter here in South Florida, the best mileage I got so far was around 3000 miles on a rear tire.

Michelin S1 and Kenda K413 did the best so far out of all the brands I tried so far. (Original Maxxis, Prima, Bridgestone, Vredestein)

I got away from the whitewall in order to have a larger selection.

I still have to try the Heidenau, Eric's top list.

Nope. The wheels are not at all identical, nor interchangeable. The tire size is the same, but the rims are entirely different, so you'd have to remove the tires from the rims to rotate them.

Top case—even empty—increases wear a significant amount. As ridiculous as it sounds, I stopped using the top case on my Vespa so my tires would last longer.

I have a front tire left over from my BlackJack, I really loved the white walls better than black but went with black K61's.

There is a lot of tread left on the original whitewall... like 90%.
