scoot only starts when stone cold

once started the auto-choke does its thing then it will idle for about 5 minutes before stalling. Seems to run fine when given throttle will ride as long as throttle given with no stutter. Once stalled it will not start again until fully cooled(1-2 hours). Like I said the auto-choke appears to work fine(could this still be the problem?). Can't think of anything else heat sensor related. So far replaced CDI and Coil, new air filter, new spark plug, checked the fuel lines, cleaned both main and idle jets(have not yet cleaned the body of the carb or the other parts). My next move is to fully pull apart carb and clean, if nothing then buy a new auto-choke(expensive). Sorry for a second post on my scoots problems but getting desperate. Help!!!
