Vin Number

Could someone please tell me where the VIN number is on the Buddy 150
and what can you learn about the Buddy from it?

The easy-to-see VIN is on a barcoded plate riveted to the legshield. If that's missing, the harder-to-see VIN is stamped onto the frame behind the removable plastic plug on the legshield - see p. 7 of the owner's manual. The VIN may also be stamped someplace else, but I can't remember right now.
The engine number is beside the filler port on the gearbox (p. 6).
