125 buddy not idling

When I kick start my 125 buddy, it runs for aprox. 10-15 seconds, then shuts off. I added some sea foam, and the results are the same. Is this an Idle jet issue???? Any help would be much appreciated.

Does it keep going if you give it a little throttle? Does that continue once it's 'warm'?
The idle is pretty easy to tinker with, but many of the wrenches here can probably guide you much better than I.

Some basic diagnosis questions:
Does it sputter at all before dying?
Does the idle sound high/low before it dies?
How many miles on it?
When was the last maintenance and what's been done to it?
You can try adjusting the idle, which is pretty easy:

The idle should run high at first, then settle lower once the engine warms.
Does the electric start work? If you have to kickstart, then it dies, it could be an electrical issue.
If the scooter hasn't been ridden much and wasn't prepped before storage, it could be a carb/jet issue. Sea Foam won't remove a large blockage. The carb will need a proper cleaning and maintenance.
Could also be the autochoke if you have to kickstart and give it gas to get it to start.

It does not sputter before dying, it just dies when she lets off the throttle. My wife only has about 525 miles on it.
As far as maintenance, I have changed the engine and gear oil twice since new. The battery is dead from the winter, so I just put it on a tender. I'll try to adjust the idle, then pull the jets and give them a good cleaning over the weekend. Thank you very, very much for the tips. I'll let you know how I make out.

Clean the jets. Pay special attention to the idle jet. Its orifice is TINY. Also, stick a new spark plug in there.
THANK YOU ALL
