What the what!?

Was at the Saint Patrick's Day parade in Atlanta yesterday; my little girl was marching with her Girl Scout troupe in front of a Kermit the Frog balloon.
While waiting, I heard the putt-putt sound of a cheaper, Chinese scooter which isn't unusual in downtown Atlanta. Looked up and saw it was a dad with his little girl sitting in front of him; she's wearing a bike helmet. He's wearing *no* helmet.
And then I see he's got one of those stroller-chariots for kids to sit in while you cycle on a road bike. He's got it attached behind his scoot and the exhaust is pointed directly at it. There's a kid in the stroller!
What the hell is wrong with people?! I guess he was meeting his wife or something because he stopped, let the girl climb off the scooter to hand her off to a woman and he takes the bike helmet off and puts it on his head...
But there's a kid riding in something that was never intended to be on the back of a scooter and eating a ton of exhaust!
We all see some messed up stuff from time to time. Hell, I know I'm probably guilty of something sometime in my life. But what the what!?
I know, pics or it didn't happen; my wife had the camera and my phone takes lousy shots. But I just can't believe the cops who were standing around didn't even blink. And this asshat will keep doing what he's doing and give scooterists a bad name...
