Dave Harrington of Just Gotta Scoot has posted a new interview with Mr. McCaleb after a much too long absence. It's a great listen with some news! Great to have Dave back and listening to two of greatest boosters of scooters and the lifestyle is always a treat!

Looks like Genuine is gonna do a "ferrara pan" candy 50cc scoot. Maybe a "Lemonhead"? BRIGHT yellow would be cool, and hi-vis. Three listener questions and NO question about a large cruiser. Phil gave a great shout out to ModernBuddy, mentioning Eric and Justin! On that note I want to give thanks to those two.

Sounds like Kemy's tour is in full swing. I need to drop him a line. Cool interview. Thank you Phil!

P.S. Phil I really could relate about taking a cruise during lunch on a crappy work day. SPOT ON!

If it included a Lemonhead logo, I would be oh so tempted. Not that I'm planning to retire Flash any time soon (I hope). 13K miles is just middle-aged, right?

I sincerely hope it's not a "Boston Baked Beans" scooter; the ridicule potential there is just too high.

^^^I looked up all the candy that they made, and kind of laughed at the thought of a Boston Baked Bean scoot. Jawbreaker is also a thought.

That would be awesome. I think a couple lemon-head-esque ones would be even awesome-er, since they do have a variety of the fruit-head candies Grape-heads are my favorite! There are appleheads and cherryheads, along with the new chewy versions in tropical, berry and "redhead."
They definitely have a lot of things to choose from anyway.

He really does take the time to read the forum. He pays attention and knows MB members by (user)name. When we did our Genuine ride a few weeks ago, he asked me about a few from the area because he wanted to meet and talk to them and to personally thank them. As much as Philip is a very good salesman—an integral part of what he does, of course—he's also sincere and truly appreciates his customers and people active in this community. (Not just me & Justin, but thanks!)

IMHO, when people ask "Why Genuine?" that's a huge part of it. No company is perfect, but this one has more heart and soul than others. I think most of us get that.
