steering column lock hard to fix?

Post by jasondavis48108 »

So I need a new steering column lock after recovering my stolen scooter. Looks like the nearest Genuine dealer is now over an hour away by expressway. I'm thinking about just doing the work myself if it's not too complex. Anyone done this before? Any tips?

I don't have any experience with this, but I was able to find this on-line. I don't know if any of it will be of any help...

There are Service Manuals here, but I don't know if they even include info on column locks.

Thanks Michelle sunds like it could be fairly tricky. If I can't find a someone who has done this process on a Buddy I think I'll just let the pros handle it. :)
