I am wanting to post some pics to today's Genuine Ride, but since Google changed Picasa, I can't figure out how to do it. There u to be a place on the ride hand side of the screen to post a link to the pic.

Do anyone know how to do that with the new version of Picasa? I am seriously frustrated.

Any help is appreciated

Howard

There's still a "Link to this Photo" link on the right column when I go to Picasa. When you click it, URL and embed info pop up.

Unfortunately, it's no longer there for me. I don't get it.

My only options are

Tag
Comment and

Photo Details

There is a "Share" button at the bottom, but only lets me share with other Google+ people.

Hoe do I shut Google+ off? Maybe thats the problem

We, I did it. I logged out of Google then logged back it and got the same screen I used to get. It changes back the new version as soon as I leave it and come back, though.

Very strange

Do you actually use Google+? I kind of forgot I had an account.

I've never used Picasa directly, but funnily enough when I went to check, I discovered a bunch of images I uploaded to a blogger.com site several years ago.

Totally unrelated but OMG! I just saw a TV ad for Google+! Are you kidding me? It's like the last cry for life coming from a dying animal.
(Kind of like the TV ads I'm seeing for the up coming version of Internet Explorer...)

Not so much of a last cry from an animal as a last cry from a single head of a Hydra. + might not carry on, but the replacement heads will be just fine.

As someone who's reluctant to divulge all my secrets to social media and who's just recently started actively (although still reluctantly) engaging with facebook... #$%& them all and their ultra invasive "innovations". I'm looking at you "Timeline" and "Buzz".

Thank gawd I don't have to actually see my friends and family anymore, I can throw diversions at them like this picture of a frumpled cat with a horridly written caption. That's cute, right? You LIKE that?!?! Please LIKE that!!!

Heh, sorry, I'll hop off my soapbox. Also, sorry for the threadjack.

Have you seen the ads for Internet Explorer?! "Hi, after all these years we think we may have gotten it right!"

Pretty comical. It is the hail mary pass of the browser world. Microsoft is also throwing all kinds of money at developer forums like Sitepoint.com plastering them with ads and buying positive opinion in hopes of winning over developers (who years ago tired of having to accomodate the incapabilities of Explorer). MSFT is fighting to maintain relevance in the post PC world.
