How do i replace the oil filter seat?

How do i replace the oil filter seat?
It has been a while since I have been around here. Nice to see it is still alive and well!
I went to do a oil filter change on my Buddy 125 the other night and I over torqued the filter and broke the threaded nipple off of the oil filter seat. I have already ordered the new part, and from looking at the schematic it looks like it is a bolt on replacement. I just want to make sure that I am not missing anything before I jack up my scoot even more!
I read in another thread that several members have done this, but searching for any info about it in the forums results in a huge number of irrelevant returns. How do I do this? Is it just as simple as removing the bolts that hold the original part on the carb, then replace it with the new part and reinstall the bolts?

If you look at the first image (E1) in the parts manual (available here), it shows the part (25) held in place by two bolts.
You can also see it from the top on page 28 of the Service Manual.

Looks like the hardest part will be getting under and around the center stand to access the bolts.

Thanks. That is what it looked like to me, but I have been fooled by what looked like a simple job before!
I plan on using my scooter rack on the back of my car to get it off the ground to improve access, but that center stand may have to come off.
That ghost thread about this problem from 2009 sure popped up in a timely manner! Does anyone know if replacing the gasket is mandatory? I only ordered the filter seat.

So I finally got the oil filter seat. Anyone doing this in the future should definitely get a new gasket with the filter seat. I tried to save the one off the old seat and a thin layer of it stuck to the metal. I gave it a shot and it may be a lost cause. I torqued it down pretty good and I am getting a steady stream of oil leaking from the gasket. I am going to try to give it some more torque, but I think it is shot.
Given that it takes two weeks to get parts I am looking for stop gap measures. Two ideas I have are to make my own gasket out of some hypalon raft material, or reskinning the old gasket with liquid neoprene electric tape/other rubber glue. These solutions all depend on how much heat this part has to be able to withstand. Anyone have any ideas?
As a whole this was a pretty simple repair. I had to remove 4 12mm bolts to get the exhaust off, and 3 10mm bolts to get the oil filter seat free. Clearances are a little tight, but a ratchet extension took care of that.
At this point my BV350 in a Texas warehouse might be on the road before the Buddy I have in my garage!

Get some silicone gasket product that you can get at any auto parts store. You will put it on the dry surface, do a bead all the way around and then let it dry a bit before putting it together. There should be instructions on the tube. You can ask the people at the store too. They won't be familiar with your situation but creating a gasket will not be a new concept to them. I did this with my transmission oil pan on my car when I needed to replace the filter.

It looks like the Buddy is back on the road before the BV350 arrives. I used some high temp silicone gasket seal to reskin the gasket, and when I went to put it back on the scooter I sheared the bolt head off. Luckily the hardware store had a replacement, and now it is back on the road.
I will order a gasket soon, but until then it is running leak free even after some WOT riding up hills today.

They've landed in Dallas and some other TX dealers. Today my dealer said he has not heard from Piaggio when to expect mine since they said the first two weeks of May when I put the deposit down. This was the same thing Lynnwood Cyclebarn said when I was trying to set up a deal with them.
It looks like it may take them a while to get them up the coast!
