hey, db. do you think your wife would be open to the idea of getting on her scooter for a picture? i'd like to see proportionally how high it goes. i'm thinking of adding a windshield, but have been debating between a short or medium. i'm 5'2".

thanks. :)

Is this the new 2007 Genuine Buddy windscreen?

Also, which GIVI bags are those...I'd like those.

What do you have under the back case? It looks like it is wider than the buddy backrack?

thanks for the photos.

DB, that looks an awful lot like my medium windshield! Are you sure you got a short one? :?:

Yes it is the 2007 windscreen, I got it from scootrichmond for just $59, It said it was the short one. For the back I was having problems with the bag sagging so I drilled to a small piece of wood and then the wood to the back rack. I am thinking of maybe switching it to something more weather resistant, It's just what I had laying around. The saddle bags are the givi t427, there was a post in here a while ago when someone had got them

I ordered them from atlantacycle.com

Also doesn't the medium windshield not have a genuine scooter sticker on it, this one does and it has the black trim on bottom. It is bigger then I expected it to be but i like it

Yes, after another look, that is not the same windshield I have....

My bag is sagging as well but as I have it tethered down, I cannot put anything under it. I put a cutting board inside it to keep stuff I carry from contributing to the problem (my sister's idea) but the bag itself is still sagging a bit. Darn gravity!

How do the givi bags stay attached to the Buddy on the sides?
Also, is the difference between GIVI T427 and T427 Voyager?

Also, did you install the windshield...if so, how difficult was it?

Thanks again.

Hey scullyfu, I'm also 5'2" and here's me on my buddy with the short screen. It comes up about shoulder high on me...and I love it. Cuts the wind and rain (rain, what's THAT??) great.
