Fender to close to tire?

Post by Marly1312 »

Hello, i really dont know how to say this ...
Everytime i stop at a red light there is this funny noise, sounds like a flat tire, but its not i checked the pressure .... and it smells like burning plastic.
So i was thinking that it might be the fender that is too close to the back tire?
Anybody else had thjis problem?
Can i fix it myself or should i go to a shop?
Thank you

Is there any kind of a mark on either of your tires to support your guess? How are your fluid levels? Brake pads? Etc?

As Skootz posted, give it as thorough a "going over" as you can. Check the fenders and tires first of course. Question-What kind of "international" model do you have. Skootz and I are proud Saint Tropez owners, although he has approx. 16000 miles more riding under his belt. Good luck!
