Posterior Comfort

Been riding my Buddy a year now, and love it. Been on some long rides, and always feel pretty good afterwards, and never sore..
I just bought a used 2007 Kymco People 250 S. I paid for it with some of my tax money, and it would be good to use on those 3,000 & above sea level rides.
Yesterday I took the Kymco on a longish ride, about 70 miles, not too hilly. I've been riding it for month or so, but just little jaunts in the city and I wanted to take a longer ride with it.
After the ride yesterday, I went to the Padres game. Not only did they lose, (:-(),but my butt was so sore from that People seat I could not sit still & my arse was killing me.
I love my Buddy's seat.

Who do people always look at me funny when I say that? It's perfectly natural!

Never been on the kymco 250, but I know that 70 miles on my buddy wasn't so bad!

I did over 100 miles on the Stella yesterday and got sore butt.
I may try some gel padding under the ol' seat there.

I have a 300 miler planned for Saturday - STL to Moonshine, IL and back, for the Annual
Moonshine Lunch Run.
The pain may be major but the Comradely Good Fellowship is great.

I don't think the gel would work on the People, since it has a two tiered seat for carrying a passenger. On my Buddy I can slide back a little more for comfort, but I always feel like I'm sliding forward on the People seat. Do you know a good place that customizes seats at a reasonable price?

I like the Blackjack seat ok. I am a big guy but don't have a wide ass and it still seems a bit too small for me. I have just started riding the BJ more, however. Perhaps I need to sit further back?
It also has something poking up the middle. In reality I find the seat much too soft.
My Agility seat is firm yet yielding when sat upon, and long and wide. Perfect for me, yet still a bit narrow sometimes. Or it feels it. I contribute that to it being a scooter, however. So, it goes with the territory.

I'm looking into an Airhawk seat cushion for the upcoming Cannonball Run. I have no idea what size to get because the sizing chart is only recommending motorcycle models on the chart. I posted an inquery on the SCBR website for guidance.

For my motorcycle which is a little dual sport with notoriously uncomfortable seats, I found and bought some high density foam and I replaced just the section that I sit on. I wanted to do the whole thing but it was kind of glued on and the shape was a little too complex, and the high density foam doesn't shape/cut/shave very easily. We took it to an upholstery place and had them re-staple it. I still got sore, but not nearly as quickly. I rode it on a 300 mile a day trip from Ohio to Montana and back.
