Blackjack slow off the line

Bought a really clean 2009 Blackjack with 2,000 miles on it. It was sold and lived in San Francisco.

My wife has a 2008 Buddy 125 that takes off just fine and still does 60 mph.

My buddy i have to rev it really high to get it going along.......then it motors just fine once moving and seems to want to go 65 mph.

I know the trick about new rollers/sliders with a lighter weight which will help on take off; and trade off is lower top speed.

My question is whether the belt might be worn or slipping? Would the rollers be too worn out? Did the previous owner put in really light weights? I don't think so as it was a woman's scoot and they told me it was all stock.

Suggestions? And what is the part # for the belt?

Thanks everyone,

they may have put in some different weights or something. I would take it to someone who knows the scoot (dealer preferably, since you're coming up on 2nd service time...) and see if they can help you out.

A stiffer compression spring makes you rev it to a higher RPM for the tranny to engage. Maybe thats it?

Do you know if the previous owner mucked around with the transmission? He/she may have tried to upgrade it, but chose poorly.

I'll probably take it apart, inspect and determine what to do.

Il put in new sliders and belt while I'm there.

Any one know the part number for the belt?

I would definitely look at the rollers. If it sat for any period of time, maybe it just got gunked up in the ramps. Given 2,000 miles, there's probably a good amount of belt dust in there. Combine that belt dust with San Francisco moisture and I suspect it would create some sort of solid matter that the rollers can't overcome until they've got a good deal of centrifugal force applied.

So I'll clean things up. That will be first things first.
