Has anyone tried to sand down and then polish deeper scratches on their Buddy from lets say a minor slide?
I want to know if you found a polish that works or what did you do? I am looking for ideas

Polishing minor scratches from paint with a rubbing or polishing compound is one thing. Trying to remove deeper scratches from plastic is another. Remember, this approach works because you abrade away the material around the scratch until the surface is smooth. Sanding deeper scratches in plastic will simply remove the surface coating altogether. The best way to repair deep scratches in plastic is to fill the scratches with polyester filler and repaint the panel. Or you could replace the panel - they are not expensive.

I should have clarified that I am talking about the non painted panels, I am aware of the prices which are not too bad, just curios if I could clean them up....

You can use a razor from a box cutter to shave down the high point and to remove some of the road rash. It's not perfect, but it will make it look better.
