Scooter Raton #42 Checking in!

The Flying Rat got off to a rough start. Stopped quick to check directions about 35 miles out and stalled. Thought it was fuel problem...kicked the snot out of it fora while. Then...finally, checked for spark...no spark...HUH? Dropped the plug end and noticed the ignition wire was....well...not in the CDI.

First leg was toast. Did OK on the other legs. I was running a little hot at WOT and had to back down a few times. Tonight retorqued head bolts and upped the main from 125 to 128.

All of Team Scooter Trash made it into the barn!

Awww, man, BSFF's been off-route in Jackson, MS for a few hours, presumably to get a coil. Hopefully he hasn't had another fault. It shouldn't take that long if the part is in stock and that's what was really wrong.

Looks like ThatScooterGuy checked in at the end of leg #2.
