strange damage to buddy - How about you?

I had an avacado fall off the tree in my back yard and crack the plastic speedo cover on my 150 buddy. I replaced it but it wasnt fun. I guess cracking my speedo plastic that way was a 1 in a million happening.

P.S. I live in So Cal so We have lots of Avacado trees everywhere.

Has anyone else had really strange things or damage happen to their scooters? There must be some strange stories!

I had someone (probably a jesting coworker) throw a snowball at Yoda and give it a scuff somehow. fortunately it was replaced with some cracked plastics.

I'll second that.

Down where I live in Orange County, it used to be Avocado and Orange groves back in the day so EVERYBODY has an assortment of those in their back and front yards. Assault by avocado is a very real threat around here.

Shattered front headlamp glass on my '05 Stella by hitting a slow-moving blackbird. It went squish  :( Wasn't fun to clean or replace. I must of hit it just right... or just wrong.

Oh man, I wish there were avocados dropping from heaven in front of me, even if they did hit my scooter. It's kind of avocado green anyhow, so it probably wouldn't show  . I've never had an experience of anything strange impacting my scooter. The most likely fruits to fall on me would be apples. We take those for granted just like you do with your avocados.

Hopefully you don't have one of these cannon ball trees in your backyard. They are from South America, but I see them here and there in Hawaii (those "things" are about the size of a bowling ball  )

Have not had it happen to me personally but in my neighborhood, I've seen quite a few front windshields get cracked, by that oh-so neat coconut tree that people didn't plan on actually having coconuts..... :headache:

Ummmm........ Ouch!

Worst I've had 'fall' on me was an acorn while at speed, managed to catch me in my 'tender parts' however it was all I could do to pull over to 'gather my wits' without wrecking......
