Modern Buddy

had a choice between a GT200 and a Buddy 50. I knew i had a long ride up the twisty mountain with narrow roads so the Buddy ( i named him Tang) was hands down the best choice.

Took me a minute to process that you were obviously renting. I just kept thinking, "That's not her scooter??"

hah! when i tell Max how slow Tang was i'm sure he'll feel better

those rentals get thrashed and maintenence likely happens close to never. i could see that a properly broken in well maintained 50 is just as awesome as any other Buddy regardless of cc's--that was for me a revelation.

the Hana Road would require a few more cc's me thinks--perhaps not the road itself but getting to it. i've never done it in a car cuz i can't bear being in one that long.
the guys i rented from are the only ones w Buddy's--he says he plans to buy some bigger ones, but so few renters have their M1.
