Possible saddlebags

These are for bicycles but I bet they could be modified (if needed) for a Buddy. I would add the usual caution that any saddlebags could rub against the side plastics and the right side might need protection from the pipe. But they already have reflective piping so that's a bonus.

I don't know...they look pretty functional, but it looks like it might be more hassle than it would be worth.
Plus they wouldn't have any of that heat deflecting material on them (for the side that would be above the muffler).

What about attaching them to the after-market rear rack on the Buddy; like the pic shows them on a bicycle? They would probably get all kinds of dirt thrown on them from the rear tire.
I guess my initial thought was that you could add a little material in the middle and still have them go under the seat, across the pet carrier like other saddle bags attach. The pic also shows that one side is attached to the center section with clips so adding something in the middle might be easier.
They look like the inside edge that goes against the bike/scooter is somewhat rigid.

The Stock rear rack on the Buddy is probably too shallow for these. Also, it's got a weight limit of 15 pounds. If you're carrying a lot, it's bad for the rack but also balance and weight distribution.
