The consensus seems to be that this Swann camera falls somewhere between the GoPro Hero and Hero2. But at $140, that's totally a price that a lot of people are thinking irresistible.

I've never been this tempted. What's always kept me 'safe' from purchasing a GoPro is the high price. But this is a really good price for pretty darn good quality! More than enough to mount on my helmet or chest and get some cool ride footage. If I can figure out a way to justify the $145 for an action camera that WON'T end in my fiance killing me, I'm totally purchasing it. We were informed two days ago that our rent will go up in June, so the timing isn't optimal :/

I bought a Contour HD recently and haven't used it once (except to see if it worked)!!! arg.... But I did see this on WOOT!, and posted up on another MC board because it seemed like a good price and you get a lot of accessories with it. I figure if you wanted a nice, cheap camera for like mounting down on your fairing or getting a look behind you, it would be a good supplemental cam along with your main forward pointing cam, without busting the budget. But again, you have to use the thing........which I obviously wouldn't, and riding the scoot or MC is about the limit of my "action sport" lifestyle.
