Parking - Downtown LA

Hi Everyone-

Specifically LA scooterists...

I am working in downtown LA right now, around 6th and Flower. I usually take public transportation, but I need to scoot in on Friday. Are there any places nearby with super cheap parking? Or free scooter friendly spots that you know of?

I have looked around a bit, but I am relatively new to the area and I'm hesitant to just stick my Buddy somewhere and cross my fingers.

Thanks!!!!

I know when I venture down there during the day, there's that open-air market thingy on 3rd and Hill that has a parking garage next to it (by LaCita)...I usually cruise past the gate to the side, go up one floor, and park over to the right corner where it's "lined off"...never had a problem there, don't have to pay (just ride by the pay gate on your way out), and have left it parked there for hours. Other than that, I don't know. Just DO NOT park it on the sidewalk; you'll get a ticket, and maybe no more Buddy when you get back!
Hope that helps.

doing a little googling resulted in this from yelp.com:

"I park at 5th & Fig under Union Bank of California, it's free. Just go around the gates.
Also, California Plaza on Grand is free. Also, just go around the gates.
When I worked at 9th and Fig I parked in the $6/day lot. They let motorcycles park inside, behind the attendant booth for the roof rate (at least for monthly parking)."

Hey everyone-

I wanted to let you all know that I have been parking in the Union Bank structure for about 5 work days now. I just ride around the gates, then tuck it in the back corner of the lot. Seems to be working fine so far.

Thanks for all of your input. This place is like a 3 minute walk from work.
