Pick up lacking, any suggestions?

OK got my Psycho 125 back from the dealer. I had him jet it, put Dr. Pulley 10 g weights and Ncy super transmission kit in. Removed the airbox restrictor and added the Prima exhaust. I love it. Rides great and goes 60 mph. I am not enthusiastic about the pick up though. I went with the Ncy transmission and 10g sliders hoping to really boost the pickup but it is not any quicker. (Same as stock ) Off the line I match my brothers Buddy 50, and after 40 mph he drops off and I continue to 60mph but honestly I should smoke him shouldn't I? I mean I don't want to do wheelies or anything but I should be able to toast a 50 right? If you have any advice I would really appreciate it. I'm thinking it's something simple..

How many miles on your Psycho? My Fiddle didn't really 'break in' until it had 4000+ miles on it.?

You really should be concentrating on correctly breaking in your engine while still in stock setup. Get 1500 miles on it first, being sure to observe the recommended maintenance schedule to the letter. See how you like it once broken in, then mod if you wish. You won't have optimum performance until +/- 1500 miles so determining what to mod before then is iffy at best. It is also recommended to do one mod at a time so you can see just what performance improvement that change is making. Then when you have that one dialed in, try another if desired.
As for what you have done, 10g sliders are very light. Personally I would not go below 12g.

I only have 500. I think you are right though. I should have just had it stock for the first 1500. I really like doing upgrades and i had it to the dealer for a service anyway. I will try some heavier weights as well.
I just thought I would see a big difference from stock, but was surprised to see it really didn't make much difference. In the past I have done the same upgrades to motorcycles, dirt bikes, and scooters and had drastic success. This is the first time i haven't notice any real improvement. Maybe just needs to be broken in thoroughly. After that I'll switch to synthetic oil, and heavier weights, and we'll see hoe that goes. No matter what I love this scoot to death it is really fantastic and does all that I want and more.... I love riding it more than my motorcycle!

I run the KAOS recipe: 11 gram sliders and 1500 contra. Pulls good and I weigh 250 lbs.

My noticeable increases in performance happened around 600, 1,500, and 3,000 miles. Yes, there were 3. Each time it got better.

What sort of performance changes, if you remember?
Change in top speed?
Change in acceleration?
Change in MPG?
My Blur definitely feels a little "different" but it's hard to tell whether it also has been increasing in various performance aspects, or if we are just melding into one unit and it's become an extension of me

MPG's always stayed the same, but I didn't ride it as hard early on. The scooter engine just felt more loose and smooth once it broke in. I didn't feel as much resistance like it was fighting itself. Previous to breaking in completely it felt restrained. Acceleration became better and top end increased a little each time. Now it is very peppy and happy.
There were 3 distinct instances where I could feel a noticeable improvement in acceleration. It was like - Wow, I can feel that! Awesome!
Top end improvement was small from new to now. Basically it went from a top end of about 65 bmph to 70 bmph on flats.
