My uncle saw this scoot at a car show in FL. He couldn't find any markings on it.

Does anybody know what it is?

Wow. Very cool. Looks like it has a bonnet like this '55 Peutgeot S57, but with the headlight in the front.

Sweet merciful Christ! It looks like the unholy offspring of a scooter and a submarine!

Ya got that right :D
A Maicomobil has that big bulbous front end. I'd love to have a German scoot...why oh why did I pay my mortgage for a few months instead of picking up that gorgeous Goggo. Patrick, I still kick myself over it.

And that's where the gas tank is - it's not a trunk?

Apparently there are running examples to be had in Cuba.

This reminded me of some of the weird-looking scooters I saw at the Petersen Automotive Museum exhibit so I did a little search...

It's a Cezeta Scooter apparently. :D

Thanks so much. My uncle was very curious, as was I. Since that's a Jawa product, maybe it's part of a collection that includes the Jawa motorcycle in the photo, also.

My uncle also tells me that scooters were common in the Auburn area back in the 50s when he was in college, which I found surprising. No telling if one of these was around but I believe Jawas motorcycles were fairly common so who knows?
