HELP CRYSTAL OUT -- buy a Scooter Seat Cover!

Post by cowgirl helmet »

As those of you who have been following Crystal Waters's Long Haul Ride to Vermont already know, Crystal's Vespa ET died en route, and she's stuck somewhere approximately 149 miles north(ish) of Hazleton, PA. She's searching desperately for a "CDI," whatever that is, to help repair the scoot, but is low on dough. So she's having a sale on her famous and wonderful scooter seat covers. If you ORDER BY TOMORROW (Friday, August 24), she'll ship your cover for free, and throw in a matching key chain to boot!

Now, I have one of Crystal's seat covers on my Buddy, and I can testify that it's a beautiful piece of work that fits the seat perfectly. Crystal uses actual scooter seats (for the appropriate make/model/year scoot) to make sure that the fit for each cover is perfect; she doesn't make a cover unless she has the right seat for the scooter. She makes tons of Buddy covers (she says "Never have I had so many requests from scooterists to make a specific scooter seat cover!") and cares very much about perfecting each detail of each cover. (She makes backrest covers, too!)

Not only that, but for every cover ordered in the next week, she'll donate an additional $5 to Gifford Medical Center's end of life care -- the cause for which she's been planning to do the Last Mile Ride in the first place.

C'mon, people -- give Crystal a hand and order a seat cover for your scoot. You know you want one, :P and now is the perfect time to place your order. Even if you already have a cover, order a second one -- you never know when you'll get caught in the rain and your cover will get soaked, so it's a good idea to have a spare, dry one handy. (I've already placed my order for a second custom cover for my orange Buddy.)

And don't forget to follow Crystal's adventures -- as well as the progress of the two remaining Long Haul riders -- on Crystal's girlbike blog.

This deal has been extended to Friday, August 31.

I like my black cover, but she does have some cute ones for sale!
