A little morning scootin up into the hills of Red Rocks Colorado! Bring your cameras if you have not been up there in the Morning, its Beautiful........We will will spend about 45 Mins parked up in the hills so people can explore a little, take pictures and just hang out, then we will head back down to see the Grand Opening of the New Sportique Scooters store and enjoy some Free BBQ! This is not a Buddy specific ride, all scoots welcome......

Meet Time and Place: 9:30AM-Starbucks at Wadsworth and Bowles...South/East corner next to Gunther Toodys.

I anticipate the ride to red rocks will take approx. 30 minutes, we will spend about 45 minutes in Red Rocks for everyone to explore/Hike/Hang out and take pictures, I have a stebel air horn on my scoot, 3 loud blasts of the stebel means we are Departing Red Rocks in 5 Minutes.

Depart Red Rocks and Head to the NEW SPORTIQUE SCOOTER STORE at 4346 S Broadway, Englewood, CO, 80113 for the Grand Opening Between Noon and 3 pm for Free BBQ and Drinks!

As usual safety is first and we will ride staggered and will stay in the right lane........look fwd to seeing anyone who wishes to come along, I wont be taking pictures as my very first organized ride into Red Rocks I forgot to zip my bag closed and the camera flew out somewhere in red rocks..if ya find it there are some really good pics on it!!

Oh, man, I'm jealous! Would love to be on that ride. Unfortunately, I'm a bit too far away to join you.

bummer :/ i'm going to be somewhere northeast of SLC and headed toward montana and to denver during that time.

I planned and rode the route today and we will head north on wadsworth from Starbucks to Belleview and head west, this will take us almost into morrison where we will jump on colorado 8 which takes us into morrison, left on morrison road and then the first right takes us into red rocks.........

On our Return we will go out the back way which will take us down into Morrison, left on Morrison Road.........for those that wish to test the performance of their scooters once we go under c470 then here is your chance, this is 2 lanes both directions or 4 lanes depending on how you look at it and posted speed is 55mph, this road is not a busy road, its a slight incline up to first light and then after that its all down hill and a LONG stretch, I have had my buddy125 up to about 73mph INDICATED down this stretch.....

If you are on a 50cc scoot,no worries, I used to ride my kymco zx-50 on this road all the time, its a beautiful ride.

....we will wait at kipling road for everyone to catch up and then press on......we will head south on kipling road to Bowles avenue, east on Bowles to Broadway, left or north on broadway to the NEW sportique store for some BBQ!!

We will stay in the middle lane on Broadway as the far right lane ends before we get to sportique and the new store is on the east side(Right SIDE) of Broadway.

Hey Jetboy are you going to make the ride this saturday?

At this point, I'm still looking at going to Sniagrab that morning. Gotta get my pre-ski season gear fix! I'll definitely see you at the new Sportique grand opening afterwards though.
