Went for coffee in Marblehead this morning as usual and they were shooting a scene for some goofy Adam Sandler film "Grown Ups 2" downtown. So as I went over the hill there was a minivan stopped in the middle of the road with a little boy vomiting and a frantic nanny asking me to get the cops. So I scooted back up Washington St. over the hill to grab a cop on duty directing traffic. He sprinted up over and down the hill and got there before a 911 call would have got someone...

It's some kind of puzzle. If we can solve it ... profit!

WOW! Buddy to the rescue! Way to go!
(Grown Ups 2, Sandler? Dude, I used to like your movies. Sort of. Some of them.)

What do you expect from a "Kooky Scientist"?

The car wash scene is what they were shooting for the film today... The choking kid was just over the hill from the set. Apparently, the movie made the kid puke before they even finished shooting it...

Yep, Sandler keeps failing, which is too bad because some of his early stuff was pretty funny. Grown Ups 2? ah maybe on video.......

My brother posted a video on his FB page this morning. He went driving around (in his cage) taking vid of all the production broohaha. Including the car wash banners and scenes!
Tomorrow they are creating chaos at the Middle School.

Good job with the response!
As for Sandler, the wife and I still enjoy his movies to this day.

"Funny People."
He played a very sick version of himself, in a movie that mocked some of his own dumb characters. I thought Sandler was amazing in it. I enjoyed that movie a lot more than I thought I would. (I also loved him in Spanglish, and I know others loved him in Punch Drunk Love). Sandler can do good stuff.
But anyway, after Funny People he went and did Jack n Jill. I love Sandler, but some of the projects he's done for $$$

I'm a big Punch Drunk Love fan. I also love some of the comedies, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Wedding Singer. Stuff like Grown Ups 2—it's not like he just takes these jobs. He writes, produces and stars in this junk.

My favorite Sandler role(s) were on MTV Remote Control.

The original Remote Control with Ken Ober and Marisol Massey was great!

Gotta' comment on this one. 50 First Dates was a much better movie than I first thought (plus I'm in love with Drew Barrymore), and will still sit down and watch the whole thing if its on the 'tube.
Big thumbs up on coming to the aid of that kid, he's ok, right?

From car wash scene: Samberg is apparently Sandler's new protégé.
