on a more personal note, do any of you have a preferred scooter mechanic?
ive had my red buddy 125(the road runner) for about 3 weeks now and i want to have it checked out and brought up to date on its regular maintenance as its pushing 11,000 miles.

Wow. That's a lot of miles to put on a Buddy in 3 weeks!

Both clubs do monthly rides and occasional other meet ups.

As far as mechanics: like Keys says, Ron is good. If you are on the west side, you might also look at On Any Moto - Grant, 2 blocks west of I-10.

If you're interested in learning, we've got a couple of great mechanics in the clubs.

FYI - Sky Island Riders club ride to Parker Canyon Lake is Saturday!
