I've never bought one before so I was looking for recommendations. I don't know what sites are good, as I'm a new scooter owner.

Preferably the cover doesn't look good enough to get stolen.

Thanks :)

Definitely the uglier your cover the better it is for security.

MotorcycleGear.com has a great closeout deal on the Nelson Rig Defender cover. I have a couple here and they are really heavy duty and designed to withstand really heavy rains and other nasty weather (though I've yet to put that to much of a test here in SoCal). I have three different sizes here (gifts) so if you want I can check and see which is the best fit for the Buddy.

Skootz, That is definitely nice and ugly! Thanks for your kind offer to check for the best fit, whenever you get around to it.

I just use a generic motorcycle cover I bought cheap on sportsman's guide website, but it is shared with my v star...whichever one is parked in front (not on the patio) gets the cover; if I get a season out of it I'll be happy and get something different next year

as I have a 10% coupon to that site.

I'd still love to hear your size recommendation, Skootz. TIA!

I ended up getting this one in a size Medium, as that's the size most people who owned Buddys suggested (in the reviews).

Maybe I should get a large though if I ever plan on getting a basket on the back?
