Riding in Northern AZ, Part II

Post by Howardr »

In addition to going to the Grand Canyon, I rode a little of of Route 66 and explored Flagstaff. In this second part there are a lot more pics as well as a 6 minute video at the end.

I don't know if you've been up there already or not, Howard, but the other road I really want to ride is the Snow Bowl Road. You gain a couple thousand feet in about seven miles. (Paved now, too)

not to be a topper, Howard, you have some amazing photos and videos... I had probably my most amazing full day of riding in Central and Northern Arizona on day 7 of the cannonball. That entire day was in AZ, from Show Low to Parker. We followed 260 to Cottonwood, then 89A through Jerome and down through Prescott. From there, it was a true desert experience through Aguila, Vicksburg, and on to Parker. Never a dull moment!

That's some great riding, Boot. I've ridden those areas as well and love it. 89A from Prescott to Congress is some of the best riding in the state. Jerome is super as well. Thanks for posting the video.
