LilBuddy used to sell a universal flasher relay on his Voodooscooter site.
Unfortunately, the site is closed but you should be able to pick up a universal flasher relay from a motorcycle shop.

$20 at:
Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Turn-Si ... B000VTTDYY (same unit and same price/shipping on eBay)
and
Bikerhiway: http://www.bikerhiway.com/universal-tur ... p-294.html

$4 from Shanghai:
Alibaba: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/30955 ... _Lamp.html

Flasher relay problems

My mechanic claims that those universal flasher relays will not work in the Buddy, but he's as stumped as I am about where to find the right one. I tracked down the Ta Young company that makes the relays in a factory in Taiwan, but they don't exactly deal with retail customers here in the US. Any other ideas of where to find replacements? Grateful for advice.

Those relays have been tested and used by various buddy members.
