Maintenance / service costs

I'm trying to find out if there is a big difference in the costs of maintaining a 125 vs. 170. I'm guessing no, but thought I'd ask those with experience. I know I can ask a service department what the charge for each service is, but wanted to get some other opinions.
Thanks everyone.
p.s. I'll also be checking with my insurance agent on the costs to insure, but again, I'm assuming my rates will be about the same.

Should be pretty much exactly the same.

Not an expert in this but the ECU would be an expensive repair/replace compared to a carb'd bike. This would only matter after Genuine's most excellent 2 year warranty, tho.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I like that 2 year warranty! I'll have to check with the dealership for specifics.

I've never had an ECU fail in a fuel injected scooter or motorcycle - nor have any of my riding buddies. Not that it couldn't happen, but I assume it is pretty rare. Actually carbs require more routine maintenance and adjustment. You can do that yourself so it is not bad, but they are more finicky
