Custom Buddys @ Metro Scooter
Just went to Metro Scooter to get filter/oil (decided to do it myself), and saw a couple of Buddys they have customized by adding stripes and swapping panels. Very cool, I particularly liked the red one with racing stripes.
While I was there I scoped out the accessories, etc. I could really spend a lot on t-shirts, a top case, windshield, maybe another scooter, etc. The new showroom has allowed them to have lots of scooters out on display, it's really cool. They've just added the Kymco People 150 and 200 scooters to their lineup as well. Budget constraints forced me to limit the shopping spree to the filter, oil, gear oil, and a $9 pair of sunglasses.

Metro's doing SOMETHING right....we were out riding last Saturday and I counted 6 Buddys on my ride from east to west (Loveland to Findlay Market). I go for months without seeing one, then 6 all in one day (not counting mine)!! 3 Sunset, 1 Cream, 1 Black, and 1 Italia. I was so excited, waved to them all but they probly thought I was nuts.
Gotta love that new showroom...go Seth and Dave! 8)8)

lagerhead,
Close, but the sunglasses I got are more like the Blues Brothers type. Are those a picture of what you wear when you ride the Big Ruckus?
twharton,
My digital camera died in Scotland a while back, and has not yet been replaced. Maybe nonsense can take some pictures when he goes there next week.
I believe lagerhead takes his name because his head largely consists of foam.

Alright, so it's been two months. I forgot the camera and just asked Dave to e-mail me pics. Without further ado, the superb Buddy stylings of Mr. Dave Rueve of Metro Scooter in Cincinnati:lobsterman wrote:Maybe nonsense can take some pictures when he goes there next week.
Come to think of it, Seth probably helped too.
