I swear I was just on their website on Friday; they have those great wiring harnesses for doing the deadlight conversion and rear brake light modulation; today their website says 'indefinitely closed', anyone have any insights?

I PMed Ethan directly last week for my brake light. It should be here by Monday or Tuesday. I'm saving up for the BoB combo.

Although you can no longer order products from VoodooScooterParts.com you can get them through me directly. Feel free to PM with any questions or to place an order.

I'm glad to have found this post. Let me figure out what I want exactly Ethan and I'll be getting back to you shortly.
If I wanted to go all LED lights all around on a Buddy 170i, what bulbs would you suggest?

I just placed an order from the superbrightleds.com website for these bulbs for my Buddy 170i. I may be sorely disappointed that maybe they don't fit or are too bright or whatever, but here you go. I'll post my results when I get them installed and get a chance to run 'em in.
I have the universal flasher relay on order as well, along with some of the cable harnesses.
2 | 1156-x45-T: 45HP-LED BA15S Tower Bulb | $ 24.95 ea |
1156-WW45-T: 1156 Warm White
------------------------------------------------------------
2 | 1156-x45-T: 45HP-LED BA15S Tower Bulb | $ 24.95 ea |
1156-A45-T: 1156 Amber
------------------------------------------------------------
2 | 1156-x45-T: 45HP-LED BA15S Tower Bulb | $ 24.95 ea |
1156-R45-T: 1156 Red
------------------------------------------------------------
First line item, for the dead lights to become white running lights.
Second line item, for the amber front turn signals
Third line item, for the red rear turn signals
These bulbs were attractive because of their wide voltage tolerances (up to 30v) as well as reports of them being plenty bright enough.
Stay tuned!

Those won't work for the DOT blinkers. You need a bulb with a BAU15s base for that location. It will give you a great opportunity to compare the brightness in the deadlight location though!
The bulbs I like for each location is as follows:
Deadlights: 1156-x45-T: 45HP-LED BA15S Tower Bulb ($ 24.95 ea) from superbrightleds.com
DOT blinkers: 7507 PY21W European Bulbs ($12.99 ea) from autolumination.com
Rear blinkers: Jamstrait LED bulbs

I'm so glad the adapters are still available for everyone. I absolutely love my running lights, both for the safety factor and for lighting up the road directly in front of the scooter. They really are a great product—especially for those of us who don't want to get all hands on electrical and stuff.

Sigh.
Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to buy suitable DOT LEDs based on your recommendations!
I guess now I can also decide whether to use the amber bulbs I just purchased for the DOTs (which won't fit) as the deadlight bulbs in case I don't like the white color I ordered... Good to have options...
