Has anyone used a good scratch repair kit for their visor?

My helmet rolled over on the ground (no, my head wasn't in it

) and got some scratches on the visor.
Had anyone heard of/used a good scratch repair liquid?
This is on a dark smoke visor. (dang it!)

I've not personally heard of a successful product for that. You could try a headlight restoration kit, but you'd likely end up with a lot of crazing and micro swirls that would distort your vision once the sunlight hits them. Can't hurt to try though, since the visor is basically a write off at this point.
If someone has heard of a scratch fix, I'm all ears!

I think I've heard of using toothpaste, although I haven't tried it and take no responsibility for any harmful effects of attempting to do so.

You can try this stuff:

But after the expense of purchasing the polish and the elbow grease, you're probably better off just buying a new visor for something like $15. Especially since you'll probably create some warped spots in your shield that will affect your vision depending on how deep the scratches are.

Scorpion knows that their visors are crap, and then they charge you $35 for a new one.
I haven't found anything despite recommendations from friends that fixes scratches well.
