Buddy on the Cover of Metro Mag

Post by Dibber »

I just came from the grocery store, and yes I took my buddy, any way, I was looking at the magazine rack and I saw the First Anniversary Issue of Meto magazine, a Twin City/Metro magazine of Minneapolis & St Paul. On the cover is a guy with a lady passenger riding on, you got it, a Buddy. Pretty cool if you ask me.

indeed that seems to make winky happy.

disclaimer: i'm just writin off the top of my head and not to be taken in any other fashion than a wink and a nod. 8) remember not all men can do anything without first weighing the coolness factor. i'll not judge either and i love both.

I had a passenger for the first time friday. I wasn't that impressed with the whole affair, except for the fact that i was taking my hub to pick up his harley (no it didn't break down, he picked up his van and left the bike there).

imagine if you will a man with the need for steal ridin bitch on orange plastic to a shop owned by another man with the same need for steal.

Yet we all pulled it off in quite sporty fashion because i'm a girl on 2 wheels. damn winky's so cute.

Looks like one of those silly fashion model ads Lambretta and Vespa usta do years ago, with slinkly models who know nothing about scootering draped all over the bikes.. If the riders depicted here should wobble on the grate on that bridge and panic and run into one of those steel abutments (without helmets on!), well......

We've been discussing this one locally. The bridge that they're heading for is the infamous Lowry Avenue bridge. It's the last bridge in Minneapolis to feature steel grate decking. I've ridden over that bridge a few times on motorcycles, and once on the Vespa, and it's way scary. And don't even think of crossing it in the rain. That metal grating is like ice when it's wet.
