Hey y'all,
Just curious as too what you think is an easy helmet hair style and or hair products? You know, so when you take your helmet off, one could kind of shake your head around, tousle the hair and still look decent for going into work...for me I teach fourth graders, so my hair is usually frazzled by 10 o'clock, if you know what I mean!!! Thanks!!

You could always go with the "Hairmet".

Root Lifter at Great Clips-- it's like cement! Works great, just shake and go!

That's really going to depend on your hair length and style. My 'do is kinda short, kinda shaggy, easy to muss-n-go. My wife has somewhat wavy hair just past her shoulders. She pulls it back when wearing the helmet (always when the hair is dry!) and it shakes out pretty easy.
As far as products, my humble recommendations (but it really depends on your style, hair thickness, etc.) are to use some kind of leave in conditioner to keep hair flexible and smooth along with the lightest styling product you can get away with using. Nothing that causes stiffness. The urge may be to go with mega-hold pomade or shellac but that'll only work with very short hair.
If I'm going to a meeting or interview or whatever, I'll drop a brush in my bag, just in case.

I have long 70's style hair, I use Tea Tree hair products, and that works really well. It does not get oily like some other balms or gels do. Also I use a helmet liner (I actually got that tip from a female rider). My wife has longer hair so she uses a stretchy thing called buffwear (from classicgoggles.com) as a helmet liner. Also I commute regulary on my scooter and using the helmet liner really helps keep my hair in shape.

...and with God as my barber, I simply have no hair. Reduces my stress level immensely.

One more for electric clippers set to 1/8th. If it's been a while since I cut it, I put some water on it at work and work it through, then paper towel dry.

I keep my hair shorter when I know I'm going to be riding. It helps eliminate helmet hair as well as being generally cooler when riding with a helmet on in general.
